What your child does with us
We run two groups, a creche and a nursery. Reading, numbers, Bible and character run through both, at the right level for each age.
Babies and toddlers
Creche
A calm room for the youngest children, with carers who know each baby by name. We keep to the feeding and sleep routine you use at home, so the day feels familiar.
Feeding, nap and nappy times written down and shared with you
Songs, picture books and soft play for early speech and movement
Hands washed, toys cleaned and the room checked every day
Pre-school children
Nursery
A proper school day for children who are ready for one. Lessons are short and active, with plenty of time outside. By the end, children can sit for a story, follow simple instructions and look after their own things.
Small classes, so every child gets heard
Drawing, building, music and outdoor games
A short note home on how the week went
Wisdom
Early reading and numbers
We teach letter sounds first, then blending, then short words. Numbers come through counting real things: bottle tops, beans, steps across the playground. Children leave us ready for primary one.
Phonics with songs and actions
Counting, shapes, colours and simple patterns
Holding a pencil and writing their own name
Favor with God and man
Bible and character formation
Each day starts with prayer and a Bible story. From there we talk about what the story means for how we treat each other in class: telling the truth, sharing, greeting elders properly and helping a friend who is sad.
Morning devotion with songs children can sing at home
A memory verse each week
Good manners practised, praised and repeated
In every class
The four parts of Luke 2:52
